During the day, she shimmered and sparkled in the sunlight that filtered through the canopy of the trees, and at night, she glowed with moonlight phosphorescence. The trees seemed to sway in rhythm with her elegance and there was not a creature alive that did not sing for her. In tune with these songs, the nameless Child of the Shadows hummed his own sorrowful melody, enraptured by her presence. His doleful symphony reverberated through the darkness, creating ripples of silence in between pauses. It was a symphony that wordlessly narrated a tale of a nameless Child of the Shadows who yearned for Ambrosia, the Golden Child; a tale that began and would inevitably end in sadness.
It was well-known among the Children of the Shadows, the consequences of wooing the Light and they tried to admonish him. Their whisperings, however, failed to muffle the melody of his heart and he paid no heed to them. Utterly spellbound, he slithered out of the shadows, his mournful melody carrying him upwards, as he inched closer to Ambrosia. The whisperings grew louder and louder, now sounding like a knell, and shadowy hands stretched out from the darkness in a final attempt to stop him. Alas! It was too late. The nameless Child of the Shadows was far out of reach and the closer he got to her, the more his substance seemed to fade.
The Daughter of the Light spun around to face the direction in which an eerie tune seemed to play. She frantically looked for the source, which seemed to sprout invisible tendrils as it moved steadily towards her. All of a sudden, she was engulfed by euphoric music and translucent wisps of grey hovered around her, gradually rising up and fading away into nothingness.
The wordless melody was now replaced by a low rumble, a requiem for the nameless Child of the Shadows, the poor soul who did not understand that his place lay in the dark emptiness of his own existence, far away from the Light.

For me, this is like your brainchild of tangible fantasy! A very touchy tale. The love for Ambrosia made him do the unthinkable. Nothing could stop him, yeah. Cause he was out there in the zeal of Ambrosia, the zeal of love and happiness.
